Valencia – exciting, modern and absolutely trendy!
In which city is state-of-the-art science best compatible with tradition? Right – Valencia!
Our project manager Chantal wanted to know more about it and went on a sightseeing trip to Valencia and Benidorm, showing you what the cities have to offer for congresses, incentives and events.
During her event scouting in Valencia she got to know the different facets of this undiscovered destination – Spain’s third largest city offers a mix of soft Mediterranean climate, traditional food and exceptional meeting facilities.
As the only 5-star hotel on the beach, the Hotel Las Arenas Balneario Resort, a former bathing establishment for the locals, impressed with a contrast of country-style furnished and modern conference rooms. In addition to the pool area and the spa area, the Spanish cuisine in the Sorolla restaurant and pool restaurant completes a stay at this Leading Hotel of the World hotel – with the traditional Valencian Paella.
From the market hall Mercat de Colón to the historic defensive towers Torres de Serranos, you will find another curiosity in every winding alley in the old town of Valencia. A special highlight is the park in the dry riverbed of the Turia, which invites you to walk and cycle and the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, the city of the arts and sciences houses.
This impressive complex of buildings includes a science museum, the largest aquarium in Europe, a 3D IMAX cinema, an opera and a nightclub. All offer meeting, congress and evening venues for 20 to 1,400 people.
Then it went on for Chantal in 1.5 hours away Benidorm on. The coast is somewhat infamous by the building sins of the 70s, but you can break through this look by being oriented to the edge of the city.
Hotel Asia Gardens, also one of the Leading Hotels of the World, boasts beautiful rooms, great service, a large garden and pool area, and Spanish and Thai specialties. The hotel’s own conference center, the arrangement of the rooms and the variety of privatization options of restaurants and pool areas for congress and incentive groups make this themed hotel a special attraction.
A short bus transfer will take you to Benidorm Beach or the charming town of Altea. Located on a small mountain you will find here typical winding streets with small shops and quaint restaurants and a beautiful wide view over Benidorm and the sea.
Our conclusion: The destinations Valencia and Benidorm on the east coast of Spain offer ideal conditions for a congress and opportunities for various groups and events. Take advantage of our know-how and let us realize your sustainable incentive in a cosmopolitan and vibrant region!
