Environmental protection must be the focus of the event industry!

A great sense of community, the thought of a tomorrow and the day after. These are the things that help us to keep going through these times. Health is our greatest asset but this is only when threatened that we notice it.

What do we do?

We then protect ourselves as best as we can… and this is exactly what we should keep on doing, while still going back to normality and everyday life again. Especially us, as event agency, hope that this can happen soon, as even though several alternative solutions for events have been found, we do live from in-person encounters, great moments and adventures we design on a worldwide scale. Our job is one of the most beautiful in the world and it needs emotions!

 

So we want to do it, but do it safely… not only for us but for our planet. And that is precisely why we want to do more in terms of “protection”! It has always been dear to us to consider the environment and human rights in our enterprise and we now want to put our focus even more on these matters. Offering the possibility to have more vegan or vegetarian dishes in the catering area and buy locally and sustainable.

 

Let´s take an example: Just switching from vegetarian to a vegan catering for an amount of 300 guests already saves 1 ton of CO2! If you let these guests travel nationwide by public transport instead of their own cars, this saves a further 23 tons of CO2 over a distance of 250 km!

This is why we also offer carpooling services via apps for participants coming to a congress for instance. And of course we want as many guests as possible to travel with public transportation.

A worldwide virus has caused many companies to rethink some issues and consider Change… This also includes realizing that everyone only has this one life on this one beautiful earth that needs to be protected!

No, we are not in a test run and we can´t press the “Delete” button if we want to go back. It’s about NOW and TODAY.

Our task as event experts is to plan an event that fulfills all attributes, to convey a message in the form of an experience with respect for the environment and others and all of this on a portable budget!
