Team nice :-) as a guest in Wonderland – Sultanate of Oman
Our project manager Christina went with the Kempinski Hotels into the land of 1001 Nights, in the footsteps of the sailor Sinbad, in Oman.
On this journey, she got to know and appreciate the charm and friendliness of one of the unknown countries of the Orient. An important aspect for us: the search for suitable locations for an incentive trip that we are currently planning for a customer.
The journey to Oman is as easy as in the well-known Arab Emirates: from Frankfurt one flies with non-stop Oman Air to Muscat. The airline convinces with its friendly service and comfortable seats. Not commonplace in today’s travel world!
The Sultanate of Oman is only 6 hours flight away in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula and offers everything visitors could wish for. Fantastic beaches, fascinating mountain ranges and deep canyons, beautiful oases, azure-blue sky with guaranteed sun, a mysterious millennium-old culture and at the same time the many amenities of a cosmopolitan civilization.
The originality and unspoiled nature of the landscapes is breathtaking. The long, paradisiacal shores along the Persian Gulf, the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman harbor the most beautiful beaches of the Orient. Glittering shopping malls, a ski hall in the desert and spectacular skyscrapers are in vain in Oman. Unlike in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the focus is on the tradition of the country and its people.
Program highlights of a typical incentive trip in Muscat: A visit to the impressive Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the equally majestic, white-shining Royal Opera House as well as a walk through the lanes of the Mutrah Souk.
Definitely recommended is a combination of the capital with one of the natural highlights in the interior. No doubt you will find hotels that you will not find anywhere else in this region. They are located in spectacular scenery and offer a 5 * service that leaves nothing to be desired. Nizwa, the oasis city, is located e.g. on the southern edge of the Hajar Mountains, the highest mountain massif of Oman. About 180 km from the capital you will find an impressive fortress with the highest tower in the country.
And next to the famous goat market, which calls the early risers among the guests, one strolls later through an impressive old town with numerous retailers and a colorful market. If you want to see the Grand Canyon outside of America, then you should definitely go with a sturdy four-wheel drive vehicle in the Wadi Nakhar. Here, the car fan finds everything his heart desires and can test the Alllradtauglichkeit the car brand in challenging terrain.
In short, Oman offers the right activity for every type of incentive or event – whether couch potato or action junkie. In addition to overnight stays in oriental luxury hotels of superlatives or in authentic Bedouin tents under the open sky, the Sultanate incentive groups attracts with diverse activities such as jeep safaris through sand and stone deserts, rapid speedboat tours, unusual sandboarding experiences and much more.
Our conclusion:Oman is exotic and individual, yet cosmopolitan and hospitable. The lively blend of tradition and modernity creates a unique charm and makes Oman a must-see destination for your next incentive.
Have we aroused your interest and are already thinking about the journey? We look forward to your call!
